商品名のPillarは「支柱」。身体をそっと支えるように。
こちらはご依頼からの商品化となりました。
飲食店を経営されている方からのご依頼で、立ったまま作業ができる支えのような椅子？スタンド？を作ってほしいと。
以前からこのような商品を私自身も欲しかったので当初から商品化を考えていました。

この商品の課題は立ち姿にどれだけ近づけられるかというところにあります。
ハイスツールなどに座ると目線の高さは同じにできるのですが、どうしても膝が前に出て、作業テーブルから身体が離れてしまい、作業がしづらくなります。
立った状態から少しだけ膝を曲げ、お尻をちょこっと乗せる。「支える力」と「作業性」のバランスを考えるとお尻から3ｃｍ低い座面に身体を預ける、サイズオーダーという答えとなりました。
使用頻度を考え、使用しない時は折り畳めるようにし、使用時にアクセントにもなる真鍮棒は、収納時には固定用の金具となります。

【注文方法】
この商品はサイズオーダーとなります。
座ることを目的とした構造ではない為、身体の接触位置が重要となります。
尾てい骨（お尻の中央にある出っ張った骨）から３ｃｍ低い寸法で作ります。
立った状態で尾てい骨までの高さを測っていただきお知らせください。
注意点として、使用時の状態で計測してください。室内なら素足かスリッパ、屋外ならスニーカーなどをはいた状態です。
（尾てい骨までの高さが７０ｃｍの方は６７ｃｍで作ります。）

Body Stand: Pillar
The name Pillar signifies a "support post"—designed to gently support your body while you work. This product was commercialized following a specific request from a restaurant owner who sought a stand or chair that would provide support while working in a standing position. As I had personally wanted a similar solution for some time, I intended to bring this to market from the very beginning.

The primary challenge for this product was to maintain a posture as close to standing as possible. While high stools allow you to keep your eyes at the same level, they inevitably cause the knees to protrude forward, distancing the body from the workbench and making tasks more difficult.

The solution is a posture where you remain nearly standing, with your knees slightly bent and your weight lightly resting on the seat. To achieve the perfect balance between "support" and "efficiency," I concluded that a custom-sized order—with the seat positioned exactly 3cm lower than your tailbone—is essential.

Considering its frequency of use, the stand is designed to be foldable when not in use. The brass rod, which serves as a refined visual accent during use, functions as a secure locking mechanism when the unit is folded.

How to Order
This product is made to order based on your specific measurements. Since the structure is not intended for "sitting" in the traditional sense, the point of contact with your body is critical.

We will craft your Pillar with a seat height 3cm lower than your tailbone (the prominent bone at the base of your spine).

Please measure the height from the floor to your tailbone while standing.

Important: Measure yourself in the state you intend to use the stand—barefoot or in slippers for indoor use, or wearing shoes if intended for outdoor use.

Example: If your tailbone height is 70cm, your Pillar will be crafted with a height of 67cm.
